Providing a lip-protecting moisture barrier that never feels waxy, we get the job done sans animal products in our formulas. Nilotica is a highly-prized varietal shea butter native to East Africa. It's known for its creamy texture, and its deeply nourishing, healing properties. Marula, found in Sub-Saharan Africa, is known for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory protection. The addition of hyaluronic acid can help hydrate and plump.
O.G. - Lalla came about one weekend when my husband was using his cherry Chapstick. I wanted to create some thing that made him forget about Chapstick. He was my guinea pig and I knew if I could satisfy him, I could satisfy the most discerning lip balm lover. I’m excited to report, my husband has not used Chapstick since 2019. Everyone in my family is a convert and living with all boys, that is huge. Me personally, I love to use it as a base for everything else. Our lips don’t produce oils so hydration is key…especially as I get older. Lalla plumps and primes my lips for color while hydrating and nourishing.
Lalla Tinted - Lalla, The Original Balm, morphed into a tinted lip balm. This was a result of our Lip and Cheeks doing so well. There was a demand for minimal, clean color with an unfussy vibe. These tinted lip balms enhance the natural lip color for a natural look. I love it for everyday alone or layered under my lip stains for added nourishment and protection.
Nutrient-rich butters and oils provide tons of essential fatty acids and antioxidants to nourish, plump, and protect. Rice bran wax provides a soft touch, lightweight, buttery, application, while a our proprietary blend of African super fruit oils help nourish, moisturize, and protect lips.
