MOROCCAN EXFOLIATING TOOL
Our Moroccan exfoliating body tool is handcrafted of terra-cotta and covered with organic cotton, hand-dyed with natural pigments extracted from flowers and clay indigenous to the Atlas Mountains. It is a perfect addition to your skincare ritual for dry exfoliation, lymphatic drainage, and wet exfoliation coupled with your body cleanser.
Dry Exfoliating— Hold the tool flat against the body and work medium, upward motions from the feet towards the heart, and from the neck down towards the heart.
Wet Exfoliating—Wet the flat surface of the Body Mihakka, apply cleanser of your choice. Holding the tool flat against the body, cleanse in circular motions, applying medium pressure for desired exfoliation.
Based off of the Original Mihakka, the Body Mihakka is three times the size. It was created as a request from clients. The Original Mihakka can be used for the face, small body parts, and bikini areas. This larger Mihakka was designed specifically for DEHIYA Beauty by our artisans in Marrakesh. This Body Mihakka is great for exfoliating larger surface areas like the limbs and torso or lymphatic drainage, and dry brushing.

Wet or dry exfoliation can stimulate the lymphatic system, exfoliate the skin, aid in draining and moving toxins out of the body, increase circulation and energy, and can reduce the appearance of cellulite for tighter, smoother looking skin.
TipsDry or wet exfoliate before shaving or in-between waxing sessions to prevent ingrown hairs and promote smooth skin. Exfoliate rough areas such as knees, elbows, heels. Eliminates dead skin cells and preps the skin to better absorb nutrients and produce natural oils.
CareAfter use, your Body Mihakka should be rinsed thoroughly and laid on its side to dry (flat surface facing upwards). Sanitize 1-2x/month boiling on simmer for 60-90 seconds. With proper care, your Body Mihakka should last 3-6 months.

"I saw a video on their Instagram page recently showing the way to use it for dry brushing. I had no idea you could use it for dry exfoliation. I was already using the tool in the shower and this just text it to a whole new level! I ended up buying an additional Body Mihakka so I can use one dry prior to getting in the shower for lymphatic massage and dry exfoliation.
